FUSE Identities AB announce the launch of its biometric platform addressing high security Access Control needs with passwordless authentication
Biometric industry veterans creates new venture as Boost Biometrics AB joins forces with RES Data Inc and Zwipe founder Kim Humborstad to form FUSE Identities AB. FUSE Identities address the high security segment of access control, government and identity industries with a portfolio of personal biometrics products.

Fuse Identities’ mission is in essence, to enable workers to smoothly move around their digital and physical workplace, while at the same time help reduce the world’s over-reliance on passwords. We endeavor to give our customers peace of mind by ensuring no unauthorized personnel may access their assets or property. To support this mission FUSE Identities design, manufacture and deliver specialized equipment for biometric identification solutions, with focus on fingerprint enabled credentials such as cards and wearables.

The FUSE Identities’ credentials enable the security of biometric authentication without requiring any community touchpoints. Unique to the cardholder, only the card owner can activate card communication with the reader. Addressing any unauthorized card use and eliminating threat of lost cards. The credentials fully comply with GDPR regulations and built-in fingerprint sensors helps reduce community touch points to limit spread of germs and virus.

All this at the speed and convenience of contactless credentials. FUSE Identities enters the market with a versatile fingerprint-activated Access Card working seamlessly with an existing Seos™, iCLASS™, Mifare Classic and Desfire EV2 technologies without upgrading or replacing any readers or backend systems. FUSE Identities’ biometric cards are in use by a leading European Government institution.
The Boost Biometics AB team played key roles in taking Fingerprints AB from a local startup in Sweden to become a global supplier of sensors to the mobile phones. RES Data Inc has for over a decade supplied tier1 card manufacturers and IoT ventures with design and manufacturing of high security microelectronic systems. Kim Humborstad funded and lead the biometric payment card pioneer Zwipe AS from inception to public listing.
